1. Survey your attic for leaks or water damage. Inspect for water stains on your ceilings or walls.
2. From the ground, observe for any signs of storm damage in the form of broken or missing shingles, uprooted pieces from your chimney, or absent pieces of fascia.
3. Stay safe by avoiding going on the roof to view for damage.If a tree has fallen on your roof stay out of your home until a licensed contractor can determine the structural damage and severity of the situation.
